Last week we held a Disney themed Arts Week throughout school. Following an extensive time at home following lock down and a particular focus upon the core subjects upon our return, we wanted to ensure that we had coverage of all the other important aspects of the National Curriculum, such as Art, Design & Technology, Music, Drama and Dance. Throughout the week, these subjects were also creatively interwoven with Maths and English. 

The Arts play a central role in all areas of the curriculum at  Marsh Lane and we believe that they can engage and inspire our pupils in all subjects. The Arts allow all our pupils to access the curriculum and allow our children to be practical, creative and to find talents they didn't know they had! Class teachers ensured that lessons were creative and cross curricular and the children thoroughly enjoyed their week.
