Welcome back

I would like to extend to you all a very warm welcome back to school for our new academic year - 2015/16. A special warm welcome to all of our new Reception pupils and parents and also to the new families who have joined us this year in other year groups. We also extend a very warm welcome to Miss Sarah Hughes who has joined us this September as the class teacher of Inventors and Mrs Kerry Woods who has joined our EYFS team. Thank you for helping your children to make an excellent start to the new year by ensuring that they arrive in school on time, looking fantastic in their new uniform and school shoes. This year we will continue to offer a broad and balanced curriculum that will also involve Educational off-site visits and also our annual residential visits to Whitehall (Year 5 and Year 6)and Lea Green (Year 3 and Year 4). We are also very excited about our new partnership with Mr John Bell, who is introducing a new range of afterschool clubs into school throughout the year. Mr Bell is organising a range of extracurricular clubs in school, in order to extend the number of clubs we are able to offer. We are looking forward to another busy, yet exciting year at Marsh Lane Primary!
