Welcome to Marsh Lane Primary School
I am delighted to welcome you to our school website where I hope you can get a glimpse into what life is like at Marsh Lane Primary School - it is a caring, dynamic and aspirational school to be part of.
Marsh Lane Primary School is an exciting and happy place to learn. Staff work extremely hard and go above and beyond to plan and deliver a curriculum that is creative and engaging- encouraging children to become confident and independent lifelong learners. We put the children at the centre of all we do and our inclusive and nurturing ethos caters for all their needs, including their safety and well-being.
We are a small village school that is committed to working closely with the local community it serves, to create a stimulating and enjoyable education for its children. Marsh Lane Primary School is at the heart of its community.
Starting school is the beginning of an important journey and we strive to provide firm foundations on which all children will build their future. We enable children to 'Dream, Believe, Achieve and Succeed' by encouraging them to learn from their mistakes, take risks, develop friendships and recognise when #ItsTheRightThingToDo.
At our school, parents and families are welcomed and valued and we work together in partnership to ensure that each child reaches their full potential. Our open door policy encourages communication and there are many opportunities to visit school and see what goes on for yourselves.
I am exceptionally proud to be the Headteacher of such a wonderful school which is a the heart of the community.
